I have probably installed these hooks more than 1000 times. We used them in a furniture store where I had to hang very heavy mirrors and paintings. We tried every manufacturer we could find and they all have the same problem. Nails tend to get stuck halfway through the holes and deteriorate. This one is no different. I recommend throwing away the nails they send you and thinning them a bit. If you make sure they have a broad head, you won't have a problem. I hung a 70lb mirror with this set and it's rock solid.
