Very impressed with this purchase! I wanted a notes app to go back to school (I'm a professor) to take notes in meetings and keep a journal for myself. I switched between Notability and Goodnotes, and while I chose Notability because it can write, the website seemed to state that only the Apple Pencil would work with it. I'm happy to report that this pen works flawlessly with Notability. I use it with an iPad Mini, put my palm on the screen while typing and the palm recognition kicks in immediately. I can write notes, drag and drop anything on the screen with my palm. Screen - without having to shell out all that money for an Apple Pencil. I read this review where the guy said he scratched his screen. He didn't mention what device he used, but I use the soft end just in case. I thought the notes were thicker or less controllable, but the lines come out as thick as you say in the app itself. I think the ending you choose depends on your preferences. PLUS it comes with all those extra stylus tips! I don't see how the Apple Pencil could be any better - I'm not too familiar with it, can it do things this one can't? This pen is pretty affordable. It comes with tips on the pins themselves, and there's more in the box in case you mess up or lose one. I suppose when people see you write with a white pen, will they understand you're using an Apple Pencil? Should be a status thing.
