I've been using regular Wahl clippers ($15) from another seller (new ones every 4-5 years) for 15 years because I like a clean shaven head. But after a few years, they slowly but surely lose their cutting ability. I'm disabled so sometimes I have to wait 2 weeks to shave my head (especially in winter). Old hair clippers will get stuck if they are over 2 years old and have 2 weeks old hair. For $15 for a new base model Wahl razor set, I just replaced EVERYTHING (not just replacing the blades. This time I decided to trust the best model with self-sharpening blades. The first cut was hair after more than 2 weeks and it cuts like Butter (and cuts closer) The cheapest model NEVER cuts that easily I always clean my razors of hair very thoroughly after cutting and add choice oil every few months or so I think I made the right choice here I will update in a few months if needed.
