Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are really good

I bought one from WM and the other from HF. Revain had a much better deal for 4 on an urgent deal. They work practically anywhere you need light for a short time, especially where you don't have a power line and need a regular light switch. I have several other guys that require you to press up and down and it's a pain when your hands are full. This positive normal switch is really great and works great with lower voltage batteries (nominally 1.2v instead of 1.5v). I can post after a test run to see how long they last on fully charged batteries. UPDATE 10/15/2018 Tested with 3 different battery packs in 3 flashlights in this pack --- original Ninghai Hengjjiu non-rechargeable batteries included, 1100mah Bonais battery available at AMZ and 750mah Eneloops. All batteries were fully charged with the Powerex MH-C9000 so that their battery capacity could be determined. This was not a test of battery capacity, but the numbers proved somewhat indicative and are given after the results posted below. This test also doesn't reflect how these lamps are typically used, but I was interested in continued use if I needed to use them for a task in the shed that could last an hour or more. lasts an hour or more. The included Ninghai alkaline batteries performed better than the Bonai and Eneloop. Photo shows relative brightness at 21 hours for Ninghai and Bonai alkaline lamps (left and center, respectively) and at 16 hours (upside-down light, right) for Eneloops. Even though the Eneloops were only rated at 750mAh, they performed pretty well after 16 hours. 2 dimmers with rechargeable batteries ensure a quick search in the dark closet, even in the hand. Although not a practical search. If you turn it off and let it recover, the light will get much brighter for a few seconds. My only concern with non-rechargeable alkaline batteries is leakage. If these lamps are placed in an environment where they are rarely used, possible leakage can lead to contamination. It's not the fault of the world. Even given the lower wattage of rechargeable batteries, I tend to use them to avoid leakage issues. I can only confirm the 5-star rating and recommend it for use with low-self-discharge batteries. Pros: - Even better if you can negotiate with a flash - Fairly long life in continuous mode - Even longer bright light with intermittent use - Works well on rechargeable batteries and is recommended when lighting is used infrequently - Familiar traditional light switch -- Versatile Mounting Options Cons: -- The magnetic mount isn't the sturdiest something stronger like UV tape. Additional Notes: Capacity in mAh after charging is complete: - Bonai 1100- 932, 956, 1000, 995 - Eneloop 750 - 682, 733, 746, 705 batteries included - Ninghai Henjjiu 1.5V Long Life Alkaline; Capacity is not defined. Note: Powerex could probably synchronize the milliamps discharged over time by putting it in discharge mode, but these batteries would be unusable after a discharge cycle.
