Review on 💧 Stay Hydrated with Contigo AUTOSPOUT Water Bottle Bubble: Leak-proof Design and Bubbly Style by David Banks

Like most reviewers, I did not specifically order this bottle for use with bubble tea. However, I had my doubts that it would work with bubble tea as well, so I tested it. As I suspected, tapioca pearls don't go through the small straw that comes with the bottle. Bean straws are exceptionally thick around the perimeter, allowing tapioca pearls to fit inside. In this bottle, not only did the straw not work with the beads, but it clogged the bottom of the straw so I couldn't even pass liquid through. Manufacturer guarantees this bottle a 1 star rating. However, as I mentioned earlier, I don't think most people buy this bottle for Boba. So I'll treat it like a normal bottle. I discovered Contigo bottles about a year ago and have tried many different styles in that time. I found these to be quality bottles, comfortable to hold and fully sealed. It's 24 ounces. The AUTOSEAL model is no exception. The key to this design is the need to press a button when you want to open the lid. Once released, the liquid only flows when you suck on the straw. When you're not sucking on the straw, it's leak-proof. There's even a locking mechanism that you can use if you're planning on packing the bottle in your bag and you're concerned that something might accidentally press the button.
