Review on Paracord Bracelet Personal Survival Outdoors by Deelo Sylvester

You get what you pay for

The knife came without a protective cap as shown in the pictures. It was taped for shipping and that was it. Also, due to the design of the bracelet, I would have to fasten it by unbuckling it and putting it on my wrist instead of putting it on. It's a pain because a) I feel a bit uncomfortable having to fumble with an open blade that's close to my skin and b) this thing is hard to snap into place. The bracelet locks by rotating the circle with the compass. The last thing you have to do to lock the blade is tedious, especially if you're trying to wear it like a bracelet. A "high quality" compass is just one of those cheap compasses that can cost 25 cents but will do for orientation in a pinch. A mirror can be half an inch long and a quarter of an inch wide, so it's almost useless. Fishing hook and fishing line are small. They are best used as thread and needle for emergency sewing. The magnesium rod (which I haven't tested) looks like it could start a fire or two, so it's better than nothing. The blade itself is of decent quality. It is enough to cut the desired cord. The whistle works well too. And I didn't check the shards (for obvious reasons). And no complaints about the paracord itself. All in all, you get what you paid for. It cost me $8.50 with coupon so it wasn't a bad deal. But it would be nice to have a protective cover for the blade and be able to put it on and take it off easily.

Pros
  • FASHIONABLE AND FUNCTIONAL: PSK paracord bracelets not only look great on your wrist, but wearing them could one day mean the difference between life and death. Blow the EMERGENCY WHISTLE and make sounds up to 100dB, the equivalent of a chainsaw, to notify potential rescuers of your location. A small signal mirror is a way of giving silent light signals in an emergency. Fishing line - a handy solution for emergency food
