Doesn't support advertised 5 Gbps data rate, $9 wasted.

I chose this cable (over others) because it said it supports 5Gbps data transfer. But when I use it, the USB connection is at a lower speed. I have a shorter cable and a longer cable both running at 5Gbps in the same application, so I know the speed limit is related to that cable. Shouldn't have returned it so I just wasted $9 and my time. I regret buying a cable that had few reviewers.
