This PSU works great with my 2009 HP G60-445dx which I recently restored to run Linux. Although this cable was a bit shorter than the original 12-foot cable that came with my laptop, I was able to use part of my old cable - the part that plugs into the wall and power supply - to cut some of that length bring back. There are no complaints as it was not advertised as an extra long cable. I just needed something to power an old laptop. It is ideal in terms of connection and voltage etc.
