Even though I was forewarned about Logitech's questionable quality, I was still left with no other options at that price. Get sick of trying to find it. You can put it to use, but don't expect it to be 100% applicable. The benefits: I opted for the K540, which, from what I can see, is only different from the MK540 in that the former is ISO with a big enter and the latter is, in turn, ANSI. A wireless ISO keyboard is unusual; I don't know why companies insist on producing awkward ANSI keyboards. Aesthetically pleasing, low-key, and sophisticated style. - A REQUIRED group of extra controls that includes a calculator. - Switches to turn the power off. Heavy clavicle, not a creeper. - An in-capslock indicator located within the key itself (and in general, the presence of this indicator today can be written as a plus). The keys' beveled and softened edges will be especially welcome for those whose fingers are very tender or calloused. Comfortable and pleasing to use; rubberized material with a large, pot-bellied design. - And thank God it's not white; it's a dark gray, not black. - The volume of the clicks and clacks is just right; it's not overpowering but it's not subtle. Having some drawbacks I took a chance and bought a Logitech product again after being frustrated by products from other brands. As is to be expected, the world is not perfect. The mouse pauses and twitches intermittently (sometimes - not at all in the direction in which you move the cursor). - The keys don't always produce a printout. - Changing to a different USB port helps immensely; plugging in the receiver to the front of the computer is optimal, but even at a 40-centimeter distance, the connection is not always stable. - There is no indication that the numeric keypad is locked. - It seems they were going for a "tasty," trendy keyboard design but forgot about the Cyrillic alphabet, which is typed on the keys in a Myriad font that doesn't work very well for Cyrillic.
