Very thin silicone. Challenging to install. Didn't improve fit or sound isolation much (which is what I was looking for). Came off once when I took out the earbud and feel in the mud. So, I only got a week's use out of it. Save your $, doesn't really do much. If you want airpod connectivity with superior fit and isolation, get the Beats Pro.
