For some reason the sheets only stuck well to my sofa but not to my armchair or sofa although the material is basically the same. I used screws which helped but the blades came loose a bit. My cats responded well. They have scratching posts in almost every room, so it's not like they don't have better options. The sheets were fairly easy to install, although the stickiness seems to be a bit inconsistent. I think the efficiency depends on the material of the furniture.
