Press the center of the iPad.

I bought this case because I needed a case with a stronger stand than the folio I had before. I am an artist and need it to sit stably in one position while painting. It's a really nice stylish case, the iPad fits in well, I've plugged and unplugged it a few times since delivery. My main issue is that the case presses on the middle of the iPad, roughly where the rear kickstand connects to the main body. If you press even moderately with your finger in this area, it "crimps", ie it causes pressure distortions on the screen. If you press even lightly with an apple pencil, it's even worse. I ended up putting my iPad in and out of this case so many times to be absolutely sure it was an accident and 100% case related. While it's a nice case in theory, I'm too concerned that it could damage my iPad in the long run if I continue to use it after just one night in the case. Not to mention it can damage my very expensive iPad over time, the pressure pulsing distortion is weird and distracting when I'm trying to draw. And since I live from art, that's just not possible. As a normal stand it will probably be ok, although I wouldn't recommend it. I expressly do not recommend it to artists.
