I haven't used the information on these cards for shooting yet, but I know that just reading them will be of great help. They break down the basics into specific terms and your camera's capabilities, and then have separate shooting situation cards that include recommended camera settings for each situation. This is exactly what I needed. If you're like me and just can't sit down and read a photo book trying to understand the terms and all the settings on your camera, this is for you. It helps to take those cards, go to the shoot, refer to them when needed, and basically let you know how you're going, which for me is the best way to get to know my camera. For someone with a lot of experience this will probably be a waste of time as I think these are just the basics.
