I didn't read the description and I had no idea that it was embroidery thread. I only bought it because of the price. At that time there was no thread in any store near me. I won't lie I was really pissed when I opened it up and saw how thin it was. It's also very silky and slippery. I like that the threads are multicolored. I was desperate so I tried. That works fine. I use it to make masks and earplugs. We've washed our masks a few times on the gentle cycle (but we don't tumble dry them) and the stitching is still holding up. I probably won't use it for anything other than masks or unless I decide to buy an embroidery machine. In the picture, the green fabric is actually very thick and has held up well. Weird sentence because I'm not the best seamstress and my car throws tantrums. The second picture is white after a few months of use. I've only used green a handful of times. I didn't even touch the other two in the box.
