It arrived well packaged and undamaged. Thanks to the good instructions, assembly was very easy and took no longer than 15 minutes. I like the color of the wood because it's neither too light nor too dark, more of a muted medium grain. The table stands firmly on our floor and we have already received many compliments. This is a very versatile item and we love it so much we will be ordering another one for another room in our house.
