LOVE colors and a huge selection. I don't think I can achieve the ability to use all colors in all possible combinations. And as a lettering artist/enthusiast, that makes me very happy. I was hooked on the ideas that came to my mind of mixing them with your water brushes and using them in the marker 2 marker technique! It just wears out and stays bent. He doesn't jump. Stays in that "hook" shape until I flip it over and try again. It's very difficult to get subtle smooth explosions and my fat shots are very wobbly. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED☹. Wear and separation of fibers occurs almost instantaneously. Some colors are faster than others. No matter what paper I used. All of them are of excellent quality. The color just lay on the paper. The shading was instant as I wrote the word Bee and decided to mix Rose Red over Bumble Bee Yellow. I tried a colorless blender[😝] which was awful. Then I made both water and marker 2 markers. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I'm not happy. now i fear that all watercolors and water-based markers will behave the same way on your watercolor paper? In the end, hopefully Bristol Smooth and Bristol Smooth Vellum will bring me better luck. I try my best not to return them as the colors are unlike anything I've seen before.
