The scarf/cape is really pretty and I don't like having to downvote my reviews but I have to be fair too. Goods arriving with torn packaging can be a blessing as I know there needs to be some flexibility with delivery services. As there was no gross negligence and I suspect the breakage occurred in the Revain as it might be a melting issue? Not clear. Anyway, if through the outer and inner packaging. Luckily there was no major damage or minor abrasions. However, the apparent coloration, which is a quality control oversight, is quite gross. After the inspection, I believe I can try to take care of it myself. It's a product so cheap it's not worth jumping hoops to get a return. While I can really clean it, which I do well, it's still a good product for the price. However, this is time and effort on my part. I think 2 stars is fair. Wouldn't give a star as it wasn't badly torn or damaged, couldn't justify the 3 stars. Also, it's for a Halloween costume. Had it been perfect, I would have easily given it 5 stars. I still recommend it, I think I was just unlucky. ***Update*** I was able to successfully remove the stain but I would like to point out that if you ever need to wash this item you will need to hand wash it. and be VERY gentle as this is a thin fabric. I used gloves as I didn't know what the stain was and left it in dish soap at dawn for a long disinfection with hot water. Once satisfied with the cleanliness and stain removal, I hung it to dry. If you handle it roughly, it will easily tear or damage the product, so be aware. I'm leaving my rating at 2 stars as I still think it's fair.
