I got them the other day and used them almost immediately. You did well. Keep my cold/frozen food at the right temperature. There are many, but I would not fill them all. Too heavy to carry, at least for me. My daughter liked it so much that she bought a set for her cars. We live quite a way from the store (in the countryside) and it was always a problem to take frozen food or milk with us. I think to be on the safe side I'll take a frozen ice pack with me when I go this summer. Just to be on the safe side. Since I haven't used it for a long time, I can't comment on its durability. Lightning is my only concern. They suffer from a lot of abuse. However, I definitely recommend this product. Addendum to the review. If I could give these more than 5 stars I would. These bags can take so much. Before leaving the house, I added a 2 liter bottle of frozen water to my bag. Besides shopping, I had many other things to do. A huge amount packed in a bag in the store. Stored it in my trunk (about 65 degrees outside and sunny). I was gone more than 3 hours and the water in the bottle was still frozen, the food was the right temperature. And I was pretty happy. I haven't tried using it to heat food. I didn't buy them for that, so I can't rate their ability to retain heat.
