This belt is about as thick and strong as I think real leather can be. Full grain leather is really thick, it's not the thin layers of leather that are held together and always seem separate. This has absolutely no designer flair so is perfect for casual wear and a very masculine unfashionable look. Definitely not a suit belt, although the buckle is in that style as it looks a bit delicate compared to the durable leather.
