Review on Versatile and Stylish Hiker Money Thomas Bates Black Travel Wallets - Essential Travel Accessories by Linda Lewis

Looks like a regular belt, great for holding money!

This thing fits me perfectly. I liked that the buckle was plastic and in fact I went through security checks with the belt in at least three countries and was never asked to take it off. At first I was worried that trimming the belt wouldn't leave a professional result, but I followed the instructions (just trim then blaze) and it all looked great! I remember people saying the space inside is small, and it is, but that's because the strap is 1-1/4" wide (you know, like the width of the *actual *Webbing and the webbing) not 1-3./4" wide like most (all?) others. Actually that's why I bought this one. Others I thought looked like they could due to their awkward appearance and their custom widths are easily identified as "money belts". What's the point of "hiding" money in a belt if it screams "I'm made to hide things!"? Anyway, the width required, that the US currency was folded in *exact* thirds, and the Thai baht I was stashing had to be folded in 4. With just enough length to fit a few bills side by side (maybe 4), it worked for me easy to overlap a little and put a lot of bills in. And I fan d the strap is comfortable to wear, which I don't think wider straps can be. Overall I was happy with the purchase and found it met my needs.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
