For the price this unit has phenomenal sound. The user interface needs serious work. The guide is very limited and as usual is not written by an English first language author. Please China, if you do our things, hire English speakers to write manuals, stop killing our language! Whether connected to an Edifier 3000 or my Klipsch headphones, the clarity of the sound is amazing. Rock, jazz or country - individual instruments and vocals sound great. The device makes a solid and well-made impression. I was very close to bringing it back because of the interface but left it because of the sound. After a few weeks I got to the point where everything was fine and found workarounds. Would have given 5 stars for sound quality but only gets 3 for clunky performance. Update in 2 weeks, what a joke, the touchscreen UI is questionable at best. Scrolling through 400+ CDs is absurd, the alphabet is displayed on the right side of the screen, but good luck finding the right letter. Most of the time touching doesn't do anything, if you can go where you want it gets blocked and you can't select anything that starts with that letter. IF IT WAS NOT LATE I WILL RETURN IT. A STAR.
