Ok, everything works as described and I'm thrilled. First, it works from a deodorant perspective. I apply early in the morning on a hot June day. I exercised and later went for a three mile walk and was sweating profusely and my armpits didn't smell at all. I'm also a 6 inch tall guy and weigh over 200 pounds. I would also like to point out that I woke up the next day and still didn't smell the pit. Most deodorants don't last that long on me. I would classify this as a mild scent and I'm fine with that. It's not super strong and powerful like some deodorants. It's not bad at all. The metal container is really cool. I think you throw away the old one (recycle it best) and get a new one. I'm not a scientist, but I think that a metal case has a bigger impact on the environment than if it were plastic or paper. which can also be recycled. Also, I find it ironic to talk about an aluminum-free deodorant in an aluminum container. So from a pure deodorant perspective, this is a great product that I highly recommend.
