Review on πŸ”’ Ultimate Baby Proofing: 10-Pack Cabinet Locks with Enhanced Adhesion for Kitchen Drawers, Cupboards, Fridges, Toilet, and Trash Bin by Ashley Wood

Unreliable but serves as a deterrent when opening base cabinets

There are only two locks in this pack which is four rather than ten as stated in the instructions. At first I was a little apprehensive about applying this to my cabinets because I didn't understand how they work. What I didn't understand is that the locking hook on the back has a turntable that moves once it's "glued" to the case via an adhesive backing. I was afraid I would apply this and it wouldn't work and I would then damage my cabinets. It's not relevant. They work (at least the set I have). Each castle consists of two parts. Below is a slider that needs to be moved from left to right to open the lock. However, for this to be possible, the button on the front must point to the unlock image. If the button is pointing to a locked image, the slider will not move. After moving the slider, most of the lock can be rotated up to release it on the left as shown in my photo. I really like how these locks compare to the typical child locks of yesteryear (see my two locks in them). If they just made it in cream now, that would be perfect. In general, it takes time to understand how these locks work. They just act as a deterrent and I have no idea how long the glue will last. Someone strong enough can remove the lock from the door as it is only "glued" by the tape on the back. However, it does what it's supposed to do and I love the streamlined look of these locks. The current price of $10.39 ($12.99 minus 20%) is $5.20 per lock.
