I've been wearing Thorlo socks for many years, mainly for training and running, so I can fine Thorlo -Socks quite hard and they have always held up and done me a lot of good for a relatively high price. These low cut socks aren't going to take that much from me, just for projects around the house. They fit as expected, a bit snug on my feet in a size 11 1/2 but stretched to fit perfectly. The only downside is that they are a bit thinner than I expected compared to previous purchases of the same style. I wouldn't do medium to long distances with or without a heavy pack, but leisurely walks or short day hikes with a light pack would be fine.
