Review on EAKLVB Women's Ballroom Dance Shoes: Enhance Your Latin Salsa Bachata Practice and Performance by Sasha Hsiao

I needed low heeled dancing shoes for west coast swing and country dancing. I wanted something that would also look good with dresses. I ordered them in my regular 8 as per the reviews recommended. They are very pretty and look great with both loose-flowing dance pants and dresses. The length is good but the toe box is a bit loose. I didn't have time to change the order and I was concerned that the next smaller size would be too tight. I added some foot pads and they feel better, although after about 3 hours of dancing I rubbed the top of my foot. I'm not a fan of the "quick release buckle" but I see that some of the more expensive professional running shoes have them as well. I had to open the image here and look at it to understand how it works. You should have a guide. The big problem is that for some reason the heels have suede on both the bottom and the main leg. The first time I danced in it it was quite a slippery dance floor, someone spun me around in a double spin and I landed on the floor! I figured it was just because they were new and someone recommended sanding the floors. Did that, put them on after a few nights and found that it helped a bit but I just felt unbalanced and couldn't dance well because of it. Very frustrating! The swing dance lands pretty hard on the heel and the suede soles on these heels just don't work, they're too smooth. I've looked online for some more expensive work shoes with this type of heel and they all have rubber on the bottom of the heels. As I am wearing them now I cannot return them so I have to pay to wear rubber heels. I would not recommend this shoe for this reason.
