I have used a different brand with two cats for many years and returned to this brand when I first started caring for an abandoned kitten. Another brand I found at my health food store that she was very fond of recently contained hard bone fragments. A close friend of mine who worked at Ralston Purina told me that the company really cares about animals and has research facilities (no torture). My cat, who has a lot of problems, now purrs every time I offer this food to her. I'm so glad I was able to switch her to good food that she likes and that I have more confidence in. It's cheaper too.
