Need sunglasses! - Fish and aquatic animals

I ordered the small size and the output brightness is BRIGHT! I was totally amazed by the brightness this small size gave off, I first placed the light vertically at one end of the tank, it was so bright it needed sunglasses almost every time someone walked by the 10 gallon tank , while he was sitting on a metal table in German, so I try to just put a small light on the bottom of the tank that also throws a bright light in my eyes when I'm feeding, eventually I suck it down the bottom of the tank. Glass plate aimed at the bottom of the tank and that worked best. It may be small but it does what it's supposed to do to keep my plants happy by allowing the fish to seek shelter from the brighter areas of the tank in shady areas. I'm glad I ordered this small size, I was originally looking for a tube bulb to replace the burned out one. The only thing I don't like is the position of the on/off switch. As an elderly person with back problems, it's quite difficult to bend down to turn the switch on or off.
