This is absolute rubbish. I bought it on August 7th. Widow's return closed less than a month after purchase which is ridiculous. I installed it on September 5th and it broke on the 8th. The plastic tip inside broke and the whole thing fell onto the shower floor after the 3rd use and it was completely untouched! I was lucky, it seems that the shower was not damaged. I trusted all the good reviews but now I'm very skeptical that many of them are legit. The thing is cheap. Like really cheap quality. As bad as I've ever seen. For the skeptics: no, I don't have excess water pressure. Yes, I tightened it properly (no pliers, just tight enough to keep it from leaking). Yes, I'm a trained plumber, by the way, and that's a first. The design for it is doomed to failure. That's the reality. The plastic is so brittle and doesn't last long. Ignore positive reviews. I think they'll change soon if this thing flies off and breaks a shower pan or someone's toe! It's literally a health hazard and your drywall (water splashes everywhere when it's broken). Update: 09/15/2021 The company that sells this product has contacted me. They were very concerned about my experience and made it right. Although I would not purchase this item again, I would purchase from this company in the future once they got back to them and eventually resolved the issue. And after all, that's what you want when things go wrong. Thanks Bowger Direct!
