Review on EVEO Premium Monitor Desk Mount by Jason Bollinger

I bought this mount for my 27" work monitor and to reclaim valuable desk space. Installation was easy and all parts and pieces seem to be to be very high quality. The Allen keys provided were a nice touch. The set screws should have been screwed loosely into the holes beforehand, but that's a minor issue. My biggest complaint is the sloppy quick release mechanism. I followed the instructions provided and the VESA -Bracket installed on the back of the monitor and inserted the quick release skewer into the clip with little effort more than 1/2" to the side. While it doesn't seem like much, this movement completely loosens the retainer. I figured I must have missed a quick release bolt, or maybe a washer that needed to be added. nope My only option is to wrap tape around the quick release tab to make the connection strong. I removed the monitor from the arm, removed the VESA mount from the monitor and snapped the VESA mount into the quick release mount by itself. Of course it dangles as the quick release mount is much smaller than the size of the quick release mount. I'm an engineer and not the type to call the helpdesk. The device either works or it doesn't, and this mount clearly doesn't work. I remounted my monitor on its original stand and placed it back on the Raspberry Pi's box.
