Installation was easy

The ratchets worked very well. I looked at the layer with the eye and then checked with a layer. A few clicks and you're done. The ropes and grommets are strong enough for the job. The bars could be a bit stronger but more than enough. The only improvement I could recommend is the way the sticks are attached to the desiccant. The grommets on the bottom of the dehumidifier hold it in place, but it's best to attach them.
