. I bought this so I can have things on my desk that I don't use often that can be put under this desk. It would be very well done. However, the clamp C is made of cheap plastic and deforms when the clamp is tightened during installation, making the shell very uneven. Clamp C had to be made of steel to avoid deformation. Yes, making a C-clip out of steel might increase the price a bit, but it would make it a much better product worth using. Another problem is when the tray rotates it is very solid and doesn't move without using more effort than it does. Must for this type of product. There are other products that allow you to do this smoothly and without much resistance. It also makes significant noise. It sounds like cheap plastic is moving against cheaper plastic. I had to remove it because these issues made it unusable. I need to find another place where these issues are not an issue. I decided to keep it for myself rather than return it because I'm sure I can find some use for it even if it doesn't fit where I wanted to use it. I was very hopeful when I bought it as it looks like a great product. Unfortunately, the build quality let us down. I have to say that assembly was very easy if you follow the instructions. The instructions are easy to follow with pictures and written instructions. It's actually very easy to put together.
