Bought these for my 2 year old son as the reviews were good they seemed to put up with a tough game. Be sure to buy a color that doesn't sound too feminine ('red' instead of 'pink', 'magenta', etc.) and when we opened it to walk out the door, had to I look at them trunk. from five different angles to decipher if the red buttonhole straps/ties were really red. My toddler saw the new boots, loved them and immediately wanted to wrap his little feet in them and put them on for us. As we got out of the car, my husband saw them and started singing "Boots with Fuurrrrrrr" and asked why I bought him mini pink women's boots. The more I look at them the more they are definitely NOT red. Violet. and are female. Some people may not care, and certainly not my little fella, but the color is misleading!
