moving to a house with a large storage room in the basement. From day one, this room smelled a strange smell of fruit, mildew, mildew and dampness. It was powerful and overwhelming. The smell will permeate the things stored here and just smell. Tried all sorts of neutralizers, odor eliminators, moisture eliminators, whatever, to no avail. I received this little absorber and it worked almost immediately. The next day I could tell that the smell had subsided. Now, a week later, that awful smell is gone and replaced with a citrus scent. 5 out of 5 for the odor eliminator, although I had to deduct a few stars for the smell. It's quite a strong smell, so I covered half of the plastic mold with duct tape so it wasn't that harsh. If that thing was odorless, that would be great!
