You need to buy retaining clips
So I installed them on my bed in the bedroom. Duct tape is not the best option, no matter how well you prepare the surface. It is advisable to purchase screw clamps to hold them in place. I installed them on my son's metal bed frame where I couldn't use the clamps and within minutes all the lights went out. One device would not turn on at all, one was not delivered and the working one does not light up on the corresponding colored buttons on the remote control. It worked for a short time, they were good.
