I love these chairs. Not only do they match our black table well, but they are the perfect height! If you don’t mind putting things together, then this is a great product to purchase. I had my 16-year-old putting together some while I was putting together the others. So far, after a year they stand up well to the rough and tumble of your feet. The pleather isn’t exactly tough though. They slice with merely a fingernail. And if you have a cat, beware! Within the first year I was trying to find a leather repair kit to help seal the scratches from where the cat simply was trying to balance as she walked along the top. With the black appearance, it’s not as noticeable when there is a scratch but if you rub your hand over it, you definitely notice all the imperfections. For the price I’m not too concerned because I have found that I can get some decent stretch covers if I really want to get fancy.
