I replaced my original RB1 kit with a professional RB3 drum kit and bought this foot pedal as my second in a set. It's the same one that usually comes with RB3 kits and that's fine because it's amazing. This footswitch is a huge improvement over the old RB1 pedal, it's easier to hold between notes, has excellent response, stays in place even when just laying on the floor and not attached to the base of the drum kit (very important for my usage). it as a second pedal) and it seems much more reliable than the RB1 pedal (which I broke one of).
