I bought this trimmer to put in a binder and carry in my work bag. I often work on my Happy Planner during breaks from work and thought it would be a great portable tool. I was very disappointed with the quality. Not only does the blade detach every time I use it (it snaps into place, but after a pull or two it breaks off), but the blade makes two or three pulls before it actually cuts the paper (plain copy paper, not a sticker ). ). Paper or cardboard, those were the raw materials I wanted to cut out!). I was a little hesitant reading the reviews I read, but at the name Fiskars I bit the bullet and decided to give it a try. I've always liked my previous Fiskars paper knives, but I definitely won't recommend or buy this one again.
