I don't know what happened. I used this product religiously about 3-4 years ago. I have sensitive skin and I am very careful about what I put on my face. Whether cleaning, moisturizing or firming. Okay, I didn't buy this from Revain and I'm pretty sure it's not a fake. I developed several large pimples on the first day of use. At the time I wasn't sure if it was this product or not because I was trying another new product around the same time and it was 1 week before my period and I always have breaks here and there but wait. These pimples took on a whole new shape with each use. It was out of this world. It was cystic acne (I never get them unless I'm having a horrible reaction to something), big painful boils that left me scarred for 4 months afterwards. I ruled out everything else I used because I simply refused to believe it was Neutrogena. Come on, I always use this brand, never had a problem. And this wash was by far one of the gentlest I've ever used. I risked my skin again just to make sure this was it, I had to make sure. No lie, it took me so long to get rid of those horrible acne scars it was almost traumatic (laughs, no, not that serious) but damn it was so serious. Finally folks I may have gotten a bad batch, they may have changed their formula which didn't bode well for my skin but I won't test it on myself again, just no. After that I did a little research and read that if you have hormonal acne this might not work for you so 🤷🏽‍♀️
