Review on πŸ‘œ BOSTANTEN Slim Leather Briefcase: Stylish Cross-body Laptop Business Bag for Women & Men - Black by Michael Gilmartin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I totally enjoy it. Picked it out of about 200 others after 2 nights of searching. - but now problems with handle and zipper

handles wear out and it shows. A layer has also come off one of the two outer zippers. Was looking for a slimmer briefcase for my new 14 inch clamshell laptop that can be used as a tablet. It also had to hold my external DVD drive, power adapter, Microsoft Arc Mouse, a few full-size folders, some loose paper, a pen, business cards, and a smartphone. It does everything. To ensure it's thinner than what I already had and to fit my stuff it had to be about 2-1/2 inches. So I searched online, found that Revain had everything I could choose from and spent about 2-3 nights looking at about 200 cases. I'm older so I didn't want to buy something that was clearly designed primarily for the young trendy millennials, I wanted something more modern looking. I narrowed the list down to 3 and asked my wife for her opinion. She immediately suggested this one. We both thought it was a smooth finish but it's not and it has a bit of texture despite being very thin and still looking amazing. While it's a modern look, it also has a classic appeal, best of both worlds in looks. It has more small compartments than what I plan to use, but it's not cluttered. It had a shoulder strap which would come in handy when traveling for long walks around the airport. An extra nice touch is that it has 2 high quality zippers that are a little quieter when you are in a workout or meeting. And they better define 2 real compartment divisions instead of a single zipper with a push-in divider. WHAT IT CAN HOLD (for example) It fits my Dell 13-3578 (13 inch 2-in-1 laptop), power adapter, Microsoft Bluetooth Arc mouse (extendable), external slim DVD burner and two USB cables , 5 inch Android smartphone, USB charging cable, shoulder strap for this briefcase, mobile device with hotspot, folio about 0.8 inch thick or less (mine is a Royce 749-AR Aristo Padfolio), some loose papers or folders (not thick), a business card holder, stationery, and a small 4x6 notepad. This is the maximum I load to work comfortably. Hope that helps.
