This high-quality, knurled leather strap with a pleasant feel and beautiful hardware is perfect for a shoulder bag. It saved my new bag. I recently purchased a lovely oversized purple suede tote bag and the strap that came with it was very wide (5 inches or so) with sharp square metal clasps.
