Review on πŸƒ Suptig Chest Light for Outdoor Sports Photography: LED Runing Light with Built-in Rechargeable Battery - Compatible with Gopro Hero, YI, SJCAM - Night Running Warning Lights by Dale Toth

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I love it. This allows you to move at a speed close to that of the day when running over rough terrain.

Ordered a few weeks ago after stumbling and falling during a night run. As long as I like it This allows you to move at near daytime speeds when running at night or on dark trails or sidewalks. I think it might be an exaggeration to say how far in front of you it "glows", but for running (at least at my speed) it's more than enough. Battery life is as advertised, as is charging time. More than enough for me. I love the ability to adjust this light and strap combo. A few remarks that, in my opinion, do not allow him to get 5 stars. I wish it had a tilt adjustment. I'm not your typical skinny runner with ripped abs and a flat chest. I'm a fat old dude, so there are some perfectly vertical faces on my front to get this thing where I want it to be. A side effect of this situation is that the light is lifted slightly or directed slightly upwards, causing glare to your eyes. I solved this problem by making a small "visor" out of black neoprene and simply gluing it to the top of the lantern. No more glare on your face. Also, I'm 6ft 4" and I love trail running, which in my climate and time of year pretty much means I'll be doing it at night. Center of my chest The smaller the beam angle, the more the ground contours in front of you are illuminated by shadows etc. The top strap is a little short for tall/large chested people. Easy to attach by attaching a short piece of elastic to the top strap. The waist belt is good enough for people up to 40 inches tall or so. I don't have a GoPro so can't comment on that, nobody wants to see me trudge and puff and puff. But the light does its job well and is very cheap for what it is.

Pros
  • Practical item
Cons
  • Negative gift
