These glue sticks do the job I bought them for: attaching shipping labels to packages. I used to use liquid glue, but wet glue tends to crumple the paper and bleed over the edges of my shipping labels. Wet glue is also awkward to apply. I decided to give the glue sticks a try so I bought this item at a great price considering how many sticks are in the box. I will never go back to liquid glue! I've tested these paper-to-cardboard and plastic wrap glue sticks and they stick very well. After about 20 minutes I lifted the corners to see whether the paper fell off easily and did not move. I pulled harder and the paper tore, taking some cardboard with it.
