UPDATE: Perfect for cooler fall temperatures. I sleep so well now. Too warm for summer, but definitely recommended for fall. A while ago I bought a larger duvet (60x80) from another brand for my full/double bed. This didn't work as it was too big and was hanging off the bed and the beads ended up on the edge of the bed. I finally realized that I needed a smaller quilt to actually make this work. I read about this royal therapy blanket, saw all the good reviews and took a chance and I'm glad I did. My size is 48x78 and it best fills my full size as intended. It just meets the edge of the bed from side to side and is long enough from top to bottom. I'm 5ft 4" and about 130lbs and was told a 15lb blanket would work best, but I got this 20lb Royal Therapy Blanket and I absolutely loved it. It's heavy, so keep in mind that it might not be for everyone, but I like the extra weight. The material is soft cotton and looks very high quality. I don't notice the beads shifting much, which is good too. I bought it in the color aqua and it is beautiful. Nice light/pastel color (lighter than in the picture). Reasons for 4 stars: a) price and b) temperature control. It was slightly more than I was willing to pay for a smaller duvet. They had a small percentage off but I could never find them cheaper (they never seemed to have a sale). I'm a very warm sleeper and struggle with night sweats and was hoping this would help but unfortunately it's not really a 'chill blanket'. It doesn't make me as warm as other duvets in the past, but I don't think I can really recommend it for the summertime. This would probably be a good spring/fall quilt as it's thinner but still keeps you warm. Nevertheless, I can highly recommend this duvet because of its quality.
