I have a toddler who is obsessed with numbers and buttons so I am making an interactive 'button box' for him full of LED strips and other stuff and I use that to view voltage and current. When I first tested this with a 9 volt battery I was disappointed because the amplifier section kept reading 0.00 but then I realized that this was because the voltage was too low causing the LED current to run not sufficient for registration. I've found that even at 12V it shows a load of less than 0.2A or something like 0.00, but once you add a bit more it's pretty accurate with a good refresh rate. It looks great in a hole made with a 29mm hole saw in a sheet of Lexan. It's difficult to photograph well due to the rolling shutter on phones and the glare from the brightness, but it looks great.
