Great Case! Exactly what I was looking for as I use my iPad a lot on the job site. I paired this with a magnetic Apple case that I just take off as I walk around the site. . In fact, the seller at the Apple Store was impressed with this case, which they don't have. The pen holder is a big plus but also the reason I can't give it 5 stars! It holds the pencil very firmly, but so firmly that it is difficult to remove. I added a pen clip for a better grip to remove the pen. They seemed to be able to make a notch at the bottom of the groove after which the pencil could be pulled out fairly easily. UPDATE: As stated in my previous review, like others, the pin is difficult to remove. Therefore, as an engineer and mechanic, I thought about how I could simplify this task. So I took a sharp knife and cut off some of the rubber on the bottom of the pen holder. This is where the sharp end of the pencil is usually located. Now all you have to do is "push" the pencil into the holder and it will pop out from underneath! Now it's easy to remove! The holder is firm enough that the pen will not accidentally fall out. I think the manufacturer should include this in the design change! See photo.
