When I first ordered it it came with the packaging intact but the item itself was so broken the boxes couldn't work. He was terribly broken. I sent it back, got my refund and ordered another one. Well they refunded me in full minus shipping which is great but they also charged more for the second one which was pretty crappy. But overall I'm happy with it. Therefore there are only 4 stars. The set consists of 2 parts that are not connected, so they can be used separately but go well together. The top has very flat spots for lipstick and a few compartments for short makeup brushes. Fortunately, the brushes I use at home are very short. Don't try this with long brushes. It will not work. The boxes are good and neat. The kit looks very nice. It's attractive and functional.
