I do not know exactly where the cable breaks, somewhere the cable bends normally in my hands, but now I have intermittent charging. I bought this in March and until recently last month I had a problem. I've now jerked the leash a few times, mostly when my dog ran up and wanted my attention. But this is normal for most game controller users - it gets tripped up a couple of times. It's a long queue so unlikely it would have happened otherwise it would have worked. As such, it's not as durable as a game controller cable should be, but if you tend to charge your controller just before use anyway, you might not have this problem. I buy mine with the intention of playing long game sessions like FALLOUT 4 or SKYRIM. Recently passed 7 DAYS TO DIE. So there's not much movement from this couch potato. You judge - 6 months.
