You get what you pay for.

When I first connected the LCD I noticed that there were 3 dead pixels. The screen was very bright and it took me a while to get used to it once I set the color I wanted. If you only need an LCD display for text and web surfing, a 350:1 screen is the right choice. But for graphics and video editing, you don't need to bother with it. Choose Viewsonic or Samsung.
