I looked at many products and many reviews before buying. I wasn't sure how this style would work. I had no problem putting a belt on two twins to make a king. However, I have an adjustable bed, so some metal bars are built in to keep the mattresses in one piece. It definitely helped. I did everything myself, no problem. My biggest complaint is that the strap is too long. This is the least of the worries of buyers of this product. I also think it's very important if you're buying something like this to make sure it has two tabs on the soft crack cap. This will ensure the center doesn't sink in. I'm enjoying the pillow on that cracked bedspread under my sheet. It's a small bump, but it's very comfortable and doesn't irritate anything. I definitely recommend this product.
