I've been using the Megahome Stainless and Black Distiller Base for almost 2 yrs. I had an issue with this last one. They replaced it quickly within 2 to 3 days I had a new one. Just took a picture of the wear and tear. I used mine every day. It runs about 16 hrs a day. I still have the same motor just had to replace the aluminum bottom. They do tend to wear out if you use them a lot. The first company who sold me mine 2 yrs ago on here never replaced it. Made some covid excuses. The Nutriteam, Inc. people who sell it on here were excellent.The taste of the water is excellent too. Its comes with charcoal packs you have to replace every 3 to 4 months. Its easy to clean as well. I sprinkle in food-grade citric acid and then run the machine every so many gallons to clean it. I dont wast the water that comes from it. Still good. I bought the Milliard Citric Acid 4 Ounce - 100% Pure Food Grade NON-GMO Project VERIFIED. The chemicals usually turn to a brown sludge on the bottom after your run it with citric acid. I just clean it realy quick with a paper towel and pure in new water.
